Numbers 25:12

Christmas is more than celebrations—it’s the commemoration of the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6) who bridges the gap between God and humanity.
Through Christ’s birth, life, death, and resurrection, the covenant of peace was extended to all mankind. This peace isn’t temporary; it endures because it’s rooted in God’s unchanging promises. Accordingly, the covenant of peace given to Phinehas was God’s response to his zeal for righteousness. Through his actions, Phinehas turned God’s wrath away from Israel and secured a renewed relationship between God and His people.
FOOD4THOT *Are you walking in the fullness of God’s peace today?*
Peace of God isn’t merely the absence of conflict but a deep, abiding reconciliation with God.

PRAYER _Lord help me enjoy Your peace and share the hope of Christ’s covenant during this Christmas season. IJN_
