Pharaoh mocked Moses, dismissing his mission from God to keep control. In our lives too, people may try to shake our faith and discourage us from God’s purpose with sarcastic words. But Jesus shows us a higher path. He responded to mockery with truth, love, and confidence in God’s plan. Before retaliating, ask yourself “Is this response glorifying God?”. Let integrity guide you. Remember that people will see Christ in the way you handle ridicule and opposition.
PRAYER Lord, in moments of scoffing, let my words reflect Your love; strengthen me to stand on Your promises, as my Defender and Guide. IJN.
