Christmas is more than celebrations—it’s the commemoration of the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6) who bridges the gap between God and humanity.
Through Christ’s birth, life, death, and resurrection, the covenant of peace was extended to all mankind. This peace isn’t temporary; it endures because it’s rooted in God’s unchanging promises. Accordingly, the covenant of peace given to Phinehas was God’s response to his zeal for righteousness. Through his actions, Phinehas turned God’s wrath away from Israel and secured a renewed relationship between God and His people.
