JOHN 17:1

In Today’s Word, we see Jesus in a moment of deep intimacy with the Father, revealing His heart’s desire: to glorify God. This passage reminds us that Christ’s mission was always to point to the glory of the Father. Even in His moment of anticipation, knowing the suffering ahead, His focus remained on the ultimate purpose—to bring glory to God.

FOOD4THOT *Am I more concerned with my own glory and recognition than with glorifying God in all things?*

How often do we, in the midst of our struggles or successes, forget that our purpose is also to glorify God? Christ’s example challenges us to live not for our own glory, but for His. It’s in seeking God’s glory that we fulfill our deepest calling.

PRAYER: _Lord, let my life bring You glory in all I do, in Christ Jesus’ name_.
