Text: Jeremiah 29:10

Date: 30/Oct

The seventy-year exile symbolizes those times when we feel far from God’s blessings or face what seems impossible to bear. Yet even in such seasons, everything remains under God’s control. The specific timeframe—seventy years—highlights that *even our most difficult moments are held within the sovereignty of God for purpose and timing.* He knows the end from the beginning and has set a time for every restoration. For the Israelites, exile became a time to live purposefully, lean on God’s word, and grow in faith—a reminder that God uses our waiting to refine, teach, and realign us with His plans.

*PRAYER* _Lord, strengthen my faith as I wait; prepare me for Your promises and purpose, and keep me from failing, falling, or faltering. IJN_
