In Today’s Word, Jesus warns against elevating titles or positions that can lead us to place undue authority on people. While we can learn from others, we must be careful not to focus more on human leaders or traditions than on Christ Himself. All teaching should align with His Word and Holy Spirit. True wisdom and guidance come only from God, not from the positions people hold. No matter the title, we must never forget that Christ is the solid foundation of our faith, the one we look to for truth and direction in all things.
PRAYER Lord, keep me from idolizing any human authority; let Christ alone be exalted in my life. IJN.
